Rajiv Shukla taunts Pakistan as Asia Cup bloodbath looms

BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla declared India will capture the Asia Cup championship against Pakistan on Sunday. The cricket official made his prediction after the board completed its Annual General Meeting at headquarters. India topped the Super 4s standings, while Pakistan finished second, setting up the final clash. The teams will meet in an Asia Cup title match for the first time since 1984.

India defeated Pakistan twice during this tournament at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Previous encounters featured political tensions and controversial player behavior that drew ICC sanctions. Harris Rauf received a 30 percent fine for conduct violations during the second match. India holds the tournament record with eight Asia Cup victories compared to Pakistan's two championships.
