Airstrikes hit terror camps as NAF leaves no haven, kingpin base wiped out

The Nigerian Air Force dropped bombs on terrorist camps in the northwest and northeast regions, and they say they took out a bunch of militants. Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame confirmed the strikes happened after intelligence teams spotted the targets.

Fighter jets hit two separate locations in Katsina State, with the first run taking out a fortified base used by a kidnapping and cattle-theft ring operating around Kankara, Faskari, and Malumfashi. A second airstrike later that day hammered another terrorist hideout in Danfako, destroying their supply depots and equipment.

Meanwhile, in Borno State, ground forces from the 28 Task Force Brigade fought off an attack on Chibok by ISWAP and Boko Haram fighters, and air support followed up with four strikes against the retreating insurgents. The military says they're working with ground troops to keep hunting down these groups across the country.
