The Bollywood actor spoke at the inaugural ceremony of Cyber Awareness Month 2025 about how an unknown player asked his daughter for nude photographs after establishing rapport through courteous messages. The individual first inquired about her location and gender before making the inappropriate request, which prompted Nitara to shut down the game and inform her mother.
Kumar emphasized the seriousness of such incidents as they often lead to extortion attempts, financial demands and suicide cases among children. The actor urged Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to implement mandatory cyber crime education in schools across the state. He proposed weekly classes for students in grades seven through 10 to teach them about online dangers and prevention strategies. Kumar stressed that digital crimes now pose greater threats than traditional street crimes and require immediate attention through structured educational programs.
