Alfred Gangata warns DPP loyalists on false job claims

State Minister Alfred Gangata has cautioned individuals attempting to deceive President Arthur Peter Mutharika by claiming false credentials to obtain government appointments. During a rally at Chilimampunga Ground in Mtandire, Gangata declared that government roles should go to those who contributed to the Democratic Progressive Party's electoral success and threatened to dispatch his team against anyone continuing to spread misinformation about qualifications or positions.

Deputy Minister of Homeland Security Norman Chisale, who serves as DPP Director of Youth, announced that authorities plan to detain a suspect connected to the shooting of party member Brenda Banda during the campaign. Chisale emphasized that restored national security will not tolerate lawbreakers and warned that arrests will proceed without exception.

District Governor Mussa Saidi encouraged DPP members to answer to their constituents while advocating for the replacement of appointees affiliated with opposition parties like the MCP with dedicated Democratic Progressive Party supporters.
