Mr. Alhagie Jallow has taken on the role of Director of Reforms and Project Manager for the Human Resource Management Information System initiative within the Ministry of Public Service, succeeding Mr. Sheriff Jallow, who was recently promoted to Permanent Secretary for Reforms at the same ministry. With years of government service, Mr. Jallow brings significant expertise to his new responsibilities, having previously led the Treasury Unit and managed the government’s payroll system. This background provides him with unique insight into both the technical framework and the operational demands required for implementing an integrated HRMIS.
During the rollout of the Integrated Financial Management Information System, Mr. Jallow was involved in every phase, from design through to stabilization, equipping him with experience in managing complex, large-scale integration efforts. As he steps into his new position, he will oversee daily HRMIS project activities, coordinate resources, and ensure that timelines are met, all while advancing broader civil service reforms outlined in the 2018-2027 strategy.
