Dell adds two new gaming laptops with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics cards. The company revealed Alienware 16 Aurora starts at $1,599 with an Intel Core 9 270H processor. The more powerful Alienware 16X costs $1,949 with the stronger Core Ultra 9 275HX chip. Both machines come with eight gigabytes of GDDR7 video memory but differ in other features. The laptops arrive on May 19 alongside the desktop version of the RTX 5060 GPU.
The cheaper Alienware 16 has 16 GB of memory and one terabyte of storage space. Its fancier 16X brother packs twice the RAM and storage capacity. The 16X sports a color-backlit keyboard that lights up in various shades. The 16X model offers better connection options, with Thunderbolt 4 ports offering 40 Gbps speed. Camera quality improves on the 16X, with 1080p recording instead of 720p found on the basic model. Both laptops share modern Wi-Fi 7 capability for fast internet connections.
