Allan Majuru to open Zimbabwe Export Week in Bulawayo, October 13 to 17

ZimTrade will organize Zimbabwe Export Week 2025 from October 13 through 17 in Bulawayo. The trade development agency expanded this second annual event into a comprehensive five-day program focused on connecting local exporters with international markets. Chief Executive Allan Majuru emphasized how the extended format enables deeper engagement between Zimbabwean businesses and global buyers from Africa, Europe, and Asia. The week operates under the theme Rooted Locally, Growing Globally, reflecting the nation's strategy to leverage domestic resources while expanding international competitiveness.

Activities begin with sector-focused company visits and buyer interactions, followed by structured seminars on October 15 featuring more than 15 invited international purchasers. President Mnangagwa will officially open the Zimbabwe Exporters Conference on October 16, facilitating high-level discussions between government officials and private sector representatives. The program concludes with the Exporter of the Year Awards ceremony that same evening. All major events will take place at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair exhibition centre, providing a central venue for business networking and strategic planning sessions.
