Amazon Luna relaunches with free games for Prime members

Amazon will relaunch its Luna cloud gaming service later in 2025 with redesigned features for Amazon Prime subscribers at no additional cost. The company stated that gaming requires rethinking to accommodate millions who want big-screen gaming experiences without the need for expensive hardware purchases.

The overhaul introduces GameNight, featuring 25 exclusive party games playable on smartphones. Featured titles range from Courtroom Chaos: Starring Snoop Dogg to variations of Angry Birds and Exploding Kittens. A rotating library will offer games such as Hogwarts Legacy and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle through cloud streaming.

Prime members receive access to base content, while a premium tier adds titles like EA Sports FC 25 and Batman: Arkham Knight. Players can use any Bluetooth controller or purchase Amazon Luna controllers. Previous reviews criticized the service for limited content rather than technical performance.
