AMD has introduced Fast Motion Response for its Fluid Motion Frames 2.1 technology through PyTorch on Windows Preview Edition 25.120.01.14. The feature works exclusively with RX 7000 and RX 9000 graphics processing units.
Fast Motion Response offers Repeat Frame and Blended Frame options to enhance gameplay. Repeat Frame maintains image quality by repeating the last frame instead of generating artifacts, while Blended Frame combines two frames for smoother motion perception.
The technology addresses AFMF's challenge of generating frames in fast-motion scenes. Search Mode previously disabled frame generation when motion was too rapid.
The new feature does not appear in the standard Adrenalin Edition 25.9.2 software. Users must install the preview edition to access Fast Motion Response capabilities.
