AMD drops low-power 9060 XT, trades watts for whispers

AMD added a low-power version of its RX 9060 XT graphics card. The new Radeon RX 9060 XT LP model cuts the typical board power to 140 watts, down from 160 watts on the standard 16GB card. This also lowers the recommended power supply requirement to 450 watts.

The trade-off is a slight underclock, reducing peak FP32 performance from 25.6 to 25 teraflops. It retains the same 16GB of memory and core hardware specs. This SKU is aimed at compact or quieter builds where thermal and power budgets are tight, offering easier system integration with a small performance concession. It is not a different class of card, just a tuned variant for efficiency.
