Amit Shah praises Uttarakhand's Rs 1 lakh crore investment milestone at Utsav 2025

Home Minister Amit Shah addressed the Uttarakhand Investment Festival 2025 at Rudrapur Sports Stadium on Saturday. The minister congratulated Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for converting investment promises into tangible results within eighteen months. Projects valued at one lakh crore rupees have materialized from memorandums worth 3.56 lakh crore rupees signed during the 2023 summit. These developments will generate 81,000 direct employment opportunities and 250,000 indirect positions across the mountain state.

Shah launched twenty infrastructure projects totaling 1,342.84 crore rupees during the ceremony. The initiatives span correctional facilities, technical institutes, police housing, parking structures, road networks, women's hostels, and medical colleges. India has advanced from the eleventh largest global economy to fourth place under Prime Minister Modi's leadership. The nation targets third position by 2027 through sustained economic growth and development programs.

Federal assistance to Uttarakhand reached 1.86 lakh crore rupees over the past decade. This represents more than triple the support provided in previous years through cooperative federalism policies.
