Ammy Virk admits defeat as Godday Godday Chaa 2 women run riot again

Punjabi actor Ammy Virk revealed the promotional artwork for his forthcoming film Godday Godday Chaa 2 during Wednesday's announcement. The sequel continues the story from the original Punjabi comedy-drama that achieved commercial success and earned a National Film Award for Best Punjabi Feature Film. Female characters dominate the narrative while male protagonists find themselves challenged by changing social dynamics within village wedding traditions. Director Vijay Kumar Arora helms the project with screenplay by Jagdeep Sidhu. Actress Tania joins Virk in delivering what the production team describes as progressive entertainment.

The film combines comedic elements with meaningful social commentary about gender equality and family relationships. Women characters maintain their empowered positions from the previous installment while amplifying themes of contemporary social change. Zee Studios partners with VH media to distribute the sequel across international markets. The production team emphasizes sharper humor and stronger equality messaging compared to its predecessor. Godday Godday Chaa 2 reaches theaters worldwide on October 22, 2025.
