Both leaders represent South Africa at important international meetings.

Ramaphosa attended the G7 Summit Outreach Session at Kananaskis in Alberta province. Seven major economies make up the G7 group with Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Britain and America. The European Union participates without official membership status. Leaders discuss global economic challenges and cooperation strategies. Advanced nations coordinate policies through these regular summit meetings.

Mashatile arrived at Moscow airport on Tuesday for his working visit to strengthen trade relationships. Russian officials greeted the Deputy President upon his arrival. South African diplomats accompanied Mashatile during the official reception ceremony. The visit targets economic cooperation across agriculture, automotive, energy and mining sectors.
