Antelope Audio launches Zenith 2 USB-C audio interface for $299

Antelope Audio has introduced the Zenith 2, a bus-powered USB-C interface priced at $299 that brings professional conversion technology to entry-level users, including musicians, producers, podcasters and streamers. The device features 32-bit/192 kHz AD/DA converters with 123 dB dynamic range alongside two discrete 6-transistor microphone preamps delivering 75 dB of clean gain, matching the architecture found in the company's flagship Orion Studio console.

Real-time DSP effects include a Tube-Opto Compressor, Sky EQ and De-Esser controlled through a single intensity dial, enabling zero-latency monitoring during recording sessions. The interface supports class-compliant connectivity across Mac, Windows, iOS and Android platforms without requiring drivers, though custom low-latency options remain available for traditional studio environments.

Additional capabilities include a loopback function for blending microphone audio with system sound for live streaming, dual TRS headphone outputs with independent volume controls, stereo monitor outputs and traditional 5-pin MIDI connectivity. Preorders are currently available through authorized dealers, with initial shipments expected to begin next month.
