Anwar caps your Budi95 fuel fun at 300 litres

Malaysia implemented its Budi Madani RON95 fuel subsidy through a three-stage launch strategy designed to prevent system overload problems that disrupted the SARA assistance program rollout on August 31. Starting at midnight, approximately 300,000 military and police personnel gained access to subsidized gasoline priced at RM1.99 per liter following Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim's September 22 announcement. Treasury Secretary-General Johan Mahmood Merican reported seamless operations during his fuel station inspections and confirmed the 300-liter monthly allocation surpasses typical consumption patterns for 90 percent of Malaysian motorists who use around 180 liters monthly. The program extends to B40 income bracket recipients on September 28 before opening to all qualified citizens aged 16 and above with proper identification and valid driving licenses on September 30.
