Anwar says PH key to clean Sabah governance

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim emphasized that Pakatan Harapan will maintain oversight of governance standards in Sabah despite fielding fewer candidates in the state election. The coalition chairman stated his determination to prevent corruption and power abuse from continuing after voters select their representatives.

Anwar called for collaborative scrutiny of development projects within the incoming administration while promoting his vision of a revitalized Sabah advancing across all economic sectors. The Finance Minister highlighted his international advocacy for Malaysian investment opportunities and stressed the importance of federal-state cooperation in attracting global capital. He attributed foreign investor interest to the nation's multiracial harmony.

The premier urged citizens to preserve existing unity for future generations and noted recent diplomatic contacts from Cambodia, Thailand and the United States as evidence of Malaysia's growing international standing. He connected political stability and economic strength to the respect accorded by world leaders who initiated those communications.
