Anyako Youth spark academic revival with quiz and BECE awards

The Anyako Youth Association started new programs to help local schools perform better. Students at three basic schools compete against each other during quiz contests every year. RC Basic School won the 2025 competition with EP Basic School and AA Fia Basic School finishing second and third. The group also gives awards to top students who take important exams. Master Destiny Afetormashie earned the best male student prize from EP Basic School.

Perfect Dzakah-Zah won the female award from AA Fia Basic School after strong test results. Winners receive school bags, books, pens and money to continue their education. The Madam Jewel Akusika Sedziafa Foundation pays for the quiz competition each year. Mr Mathew Godoga sponsors the student awards because he cares about education. The association recognizes students from first grade through junior high school.

Leaders want to create awards for teachers who work hard at their jobs. Community members hope these programs will make students study harder. Parents and school officials work together to support learning activities. The youth group believes good education helps the whole community grow stronger. They ask other people to donate money for future education projects.
