Apple Music Hall gives London a new 600-capacity concert room inside Battersea Power Station. Artists can walk away with Spatial Audio masters, broadcast-ready mixes, and multicamera footage from their sets. Yep, Apple built the place around recording as much as performing.
Inside, a 38-foot stage supports standard or center-room setups, while 48 speakers handle immersive playback. Two studios sit backstage for multitrack capture and mixing. At least 16 cameras can feed the control room, with iPhones joining the production, and performances can stream worldwide.
Apple Music Radio is moving its London broadcasts into new Battersea studios at the site. Oliver Schusser framed the project as another push behind artists and fans, while Zane Lowe focused on bringing both sides closer through live shows.
Apple already uses Battersea Power Station for its UK headquarters, covering six floors and more than 500,000 square feet. Its music service lists over 100 million tracks across more than 167 countries and regions.
