Industry analyst Mark Gurman noted that custom configurations for the 14-inch M4 MacBook Pro are limited until the end of October, while higher-end M4 Pro, M4 Max, and 16-inch variants remain unaffected. Reports suggest that the M5 chip will deliver up to 15 percent faster CPU performance and as much as 35 percent better GPU output than the M4.
