Aregbesola says ADC aims to end godfather politics in Nigeria

Rauf Aregbesola addressed members during a Conscience Forum gathering where the African Democratic Congress welcomed fresh supporters. The party's National Secretary emphasized ADC's mission to eliminate corrupt political practices and financial manipulation within Nigeria's electoral system. Aregbesola described the organization as divinely chosen to free citizens from political oppression. The former Interior Minister declared that ADC operates differently from traditional Nigerian political movements. He emphasized that divine purpose guides their efforts for liberation.

The party promotes people-friendly governance as its core philosophical foundation. Aregbesola explained that this principle distinguishes ADC from competing political organizations throughout the country. Party members should communicate this ideology when questioned about their political affiliation. The former Osun State governor positioned ADC as the preferred choice for everyday Nigerians. Workers, craftspeople, and general citizens represent the party's target demographic rather than elite interests.
