Amsterdam's Armada Music has purchased the complete recorded works of British vocalist and DJ Sonique, securing global rights to her breakthrough track It Feels So Good, which topped UK charts for three weeks in 2000 and climbed to eighth position on American Billboard rankings. The acquisition adds the BRIT Award winner's entire discography to Armada's collection of more than 50,000 dance tracks, with CEO Maykel Piron pledging to introduce her material to younger audiences while maintaining connections with existing supporters.
Sonique first rose to prominence singing for electronic act S'Express during the late 1980s before launching her solo career. Recent collaborations have generated substantial streaming numbers, and she has performed at major venues from the Royal Festival Hall to Glastonbury's Silver Hayes stage.
