Arvital Audio put a recorder inside AudioRoute 0.5.0

Whatever noise a computer makes can land on a DAW track by dragging a waveform, and Arvital Audio built that into AudioRoute v0.5.0. The recorder lives inside the plugin, which erases the routing dance and the export step.

Each instance runs one of two modes. Record grabs hardware feeding an interface, plugin demos, video calls, or any browser tab, then hands over a waveform for dragging or a Save button.

No extra track, no bounce, nothing routed. Live to track keeps the original behavior untouched, pushing captured sound live into a track and printing it in sync with the session.

Both modes carry a help link that sniffs out the host and opens a walkthrough for recording in that specific DAW. A toggle decides whether recordings stick around, and a single click opens the folder holding them.

Instrument and effect variants both ship, covering VST3, AU, and AAX on macOS, with VST3 handling Windows. Existing users pay nothing for the jump, and the 14-day trial stays put.
