Asake to headline AfroFuture Ghana 2025 festival

Culture Management Group has revealed the performer roster for AfroFuture Ghana 2025, scheduled for Dec. 28-29 at El Wak Stadium in Accra. Nigerian artist Asake will headline the two-day event, joined by South African act TxC and Ghanaian performers Moliy and King Paluta.

The festival adopts African Nostalgia as its central concept, celebrating cultural traditions spanning multiple generations. Abdul Karim Abdullah, the company's chief executive and co-founder, said the theme honors food, music, fashion, art and customs linking Africans and diaspora communities.

Several DJs will perform, such as DJ Obi with Obi's House, ADDJ, DJ Loft and the pair K-Dawg with EZPass. Organizers have planned additional events before the main festival, starting with a basketball game on Dec. 27 at Bukom Boxing Arena, in partnership with the Basketball Africa League.

A fashion event takes place on Dec. 30 at Nubuke Museum. The celebration concludes with a New Year's Eve party on Dec. 31 at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.
