Asif Bhuyain demands a July declaration consensus by August 5 in Cumilla

Government officials push forward with ambitious plans to reveal the July declaration when August 5 arrives. LGRD Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain revealed the timeline during talks with reporters following a lawyers meeting in Cumilla district. Political parties must reach agreement before authorities can move ahead with the major announcement. The adviser stressed that consensus remains the key factor determining whether the declaration sees daylight next month. Officials continue working behind the scenes while waiting for party leaders to find common ground.

Multiple political groups already delivered their versions of the declaration document to government offices. Bhuyain confirmed that parties submitted copies reflecting their individual positions on the matter. The administration collected feedback from various political organizations during earlier consultation rounds. Government teams are processing the different proposals while searching for areas of mutual agreement. Party representatives face pressure to iron out their differences before the August deadline approaches.

The adviser made his comments after attending the Cumilla District Lawyers Association building ceremony. Bhuyain served as chief guest during the lawyers gathering where infrastructure development took center stage. He later appeared at Cumilla University for another memorial event honoring student resistance efforts. The July 11 commemoration highlighted the first day when students fought back against authorities. These appearances demonstrate continued government engagement with professional groups and educational institutions across the region.
