Assassin Creed Shadows Roadmap Snubs Multiplayer

Fans spotted hints about multiplayer in Assassin's Creed: Shadows today, but Ubisoft Quebec released a year-one plan with no mention of these features. The first update arrives May 6 with a new quest called The Works of Luis Frois, Codex changes, and gameplay improvements. Late May brings a crossover with another game series and new parkour moves like back flips, side flips, and the Vertical Ledge Jump for grabbing canopies when wall running fails.

June adds another story quest and a League ally to the game. Players will see the new Alarm System, more difficulty options, and ways to customize their experience. These options let gamers turn off weapon flashes during fights, hide celebration effects, and remove their headgear in story scenes if they want a more realistic feel.

The rest of 2025 will add New Game Plus mode, extra stories, more collaborations, and Codex updates. The Claws of Awaji expansion will offer a fresh region with ten hours of gameplay at no cost for early buyers. Assassin's Creed: Shadows has helped Ubisoft stay strong during company changes, which created a new division just for their top three game series.
