Astro Bot Secret DLC And Smiling Controller Blow Minds

Team Asobi surprised everyone during State of Play with news about Astro Bot. Studio head Nicolas Doucet announced five new levels coming July 10. The Game Awards winner will also receive a new controller version later this year. Players never expected to see the popular platformer during the event. The announcement caught fans off guard completely.

The Vicious Void levels bring extra challenge for skilled players. Team Asobi revealed four level names and showed Atsu from Ghost of Yotei as a new collectible bot. These additions push the total level count past 90. The studio continues adding free content months after launch. Hardcore fans will enjoy the tougher gameplay sections.

The updated DualSense controller looks nearly identical to the original version. The main difference shows smiling eyes instead of regular ones. Everything else about the design remains the same. The controller keeps the same color scheme and layout. Team Asobi made only minor visual changes.

This might be the final content drop before Team Asobi moves to their next project. The game approaches its first anniversary since release. Doucet promised to keep delivering free experiences for fans. The studio enjoys providing extended gameplay at no extra cost. Future plans remain unclear for the development team.
