ASUS ROG X870E Extreme and Apex Are PC Game Changers

ASUS just added two new motherboards to its premium lineup for AMD Ryzen systems. The ROG Crosshair X870E Extreme comes with massive power delivery—20+2+2 stages that easily handle even the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor at full throttle. Thick heatsinks keep everything cool during intense usage. Special features like LN2 mode help enthusiasts push performance limits with extreme cooling methods.

The motherboard offers one-click overclocking options through AI Overclocking features. Thanks to the M. 2 Q-Release system, users can install fast storage drives without tools. Network options include 10 Gb and 5 Gb Ethernet ports alongside WiFi 7 capability with speeds up to 6.5 Gbps.

The ROG Crosshair X870E Apex focuses on memory performance with just two DIMM slots instead of four. This design reduces interference with the CPU's memory controller for better speeds. The board features tall heatsinks connected by an L-shaped heat pipe to manage temperatures from its 18+2+2 power system. Metal armor covers almost the entire back side for structural strength.

Both motherboards provide PCIe 5.0 support for graphics cards and storage drives. The Apex model comes with three PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots for blazing-fast storage options. These boards help PC builders create systems that perform beyond ordinary limits.
