Atiku calls out empty promises as Kano killings test security again

A political heavyweight slams the horrific murder of a family in the north. Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar called the killing of a woman and her six kids in Kano's Dorayi Chiranchi area senseless violence. He expressed heartbreak over the act targeting innocent Nigerians.

Reports state the housewife's nephew, Umar Auwalu, led the group responsible for the attack. Atiku extended his sympathy to the grieving family and the wider community in a released statement. He sharply questioned whether stated directives to security agencies are being followed or are just empty talk.

The presidential candidate insisted that security forces must quickly find those responsible for this brutality. He stressed the need for decisive action to protect all citizens from such attacks. Atiku recalled his prior appeals for improved safety measures across the nation.

He emphasized that ending a recurring culture of violence must become an immediate priority. Ensuring security for every Nigerian is fundamental, he stated. The politician demanded concrete steps to stop these cycles of brutality for good.
