Atiku slams Tinubu for abandoning BEA students abroad

Atiku just put the presidency on blast for abandoning students rotting away in foreign countries. The opposition leader slammed the government for quietly killing the Bilateral Education Agreement without giving anyone a heads-up. He claims that roughly 1,600 scholars remain stranded abroad with zero support.

He argued that unpaid allowances have stacked up to thousands of dollars per head. Atiku noted that monthly stipends initially got slashed deeply before stopping completely. Real hunger and rent debt apparently plague these young citizens daily.

Things reportedly turned fatal in Morocco, where one beneficiary died during the struggle. Families back home have stormed government offices to demand explanations for this mess. They seemingly get ignored while their children suffer overseas.

The education minister allegedly told frustrated scholars to just come back home instead of expecting payment. Atiku ripped into this mindset for treating academic dreams like an administrative nuisance. He insists the state broke its bond with these students.
