Atomfall Hits 1 Million Players in Record Time

Rebellion reached a huge milestone with their brand new game, Atomfall. Players flocked to this British adventure fast—over 1.5 million people jumped in during the first few days after release. This British video game developer hit its biggest success ever across its entire 32-year history. The game takes place in northern England and connects with audiences immediately.

Jason Kingsley, who runs Rebellion as CEO, feels thrilled about these results. He explained that being an independent company lets them create unique games like Atomfall. The game celebrates everything British - from beautiful countryside landscapes to references from classic British entertainment. The team plans to keep adding more content based on this amazing start.

Players seem to enjoy the freedom Atomfall offers, especially making unexpected choices. More than 316,000 gamers decided to kill the scientist right at the start of their adventure. The cricket bat became everyone's favorite weapon, racking up 3.7 million kills already. Players also consumed over 4 million pasties and drank 300,000 cups of tea during gameplay.

Atomfall first became playable for Deluxe Edition buyers on March 24th, with the complete version launching March 27th, including Game Pass. You can play it on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Windows PC, Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. Steam Deck users can rest easy knowing Atomfall earned full certification for their handheld system.
