AudioThing has updated Wurly to version 1.1, bringing fresh improvements to this plugin that models the Wurlitzer 200 and 200A electric pianos. It now runs as a standalone app, making it easy to use outside a DAW. This update adds a Mod Wheel option for controlling the Tremolo, which helps shape the instrument's natural movement. Users also get a global volume boost to help the sound cut through a mix and a new soft clip feature that adds a gentle, warm edge. In addition, the plugin now supports macOS Sonoma for a smoother experience on Apple systems.

The latest update fixes issues from the past. The speakers, once stuck in mono, now play in true stereo. It also restores the keyboard's original range so no notes are lost. This makes Wurly more enjoyable and accurate to the spirit of the classic electric piano sound.
