Ayariga cheers Kwahu forum for local biz growth

Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga praised President Mahama for starting the Kwahu Business Forum. He said it helps people see the business spirit of locals and brings entrepreneurs together from all parts of Ghana. The forum took place at the Mpraeso Social Centre in the Eastern Region.

The NDC won the 2024 election because people liked its 24-hour economy plan. This plan supports businesses that create jobs for young people. Parliament will help ensure ministers keep their promises about growing businesses. They passed a budget with money to help make these promises happen. They want to watch how the government uses this money.

President Mahama told officials to send most of the common fund straight to local areas. This money pays local businesses for their work. He also wants schools to buy food from nearby sellers instead of from Accra. These changes mean community businesses will grow stronger, creating many opportunities for small companies across Ghana.

The Kwahu Business Forum helps small businesses grow. It brings together business owners, investors, new companies, and factory leaders. They talk about ways to find money and share what they know with each other. The first meeting happened during Easter 2024. Many business leaders attended the second meeting about finance.
