Blocked drains overflowed and sent water rushing through streets. Other parts of Jimeta stayed dry during the same storm. Residents blamed poor drainage systems for the damage.
Ephraim Timothy criticized the town's water management system. He said the drains should help but actually cause more problems. Trash and waste block the channels that run through the community.
