Bangladesh drops the ball, India spinners feast in Dubai

India defeated Bangladesh by 41 runs during their Asia Cup Super Fours encounter at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday. Bangladesh struggled while chasing India's total of 169 runs and managed only 127 before losing all wickets. The defeat occurred despite Saif Hassan's impressive 69 runs from 51 deliveries that featured five sixes against spin bowling.

India's spin attack proved decisive as Kuldeep Yadav claimed three wickets for just 18 runs. Varun Chakravarthy and Axar Patel supported the bowling effort by taking two and one wickets respectively. Abhishek Sharma had earlier powered India's innings with 75 runs from 37 balls before Rishad Hossain's direct throw ended his aggressive knock.

Bangladesh maintains hope for reaching the tournament final through their upcoming match against Pakistan. The encounter will take place at the same venue and could determine which team advances. Despite this setback, the Tigers showed fighting spirit through tight bowling performances from Mustafizur Rahman and other seamers during India's batting innings.
