Bangladesh to bring home first group from conflict hit Iran

Bangladesh plans to bring home citizens who want to leave war-torn Iran. The foreign ministry announced that the first batch of people will travel back to Bangladesh during the coming week. Officials have started working with nearby countries to help make this happen safely. The government wants to rescue all Bangladeshi workers and residents who feel scared about staying there. Shah Asif Rahman from the Public Diplomacy Wing shared these details during a recent announcement.

The ministry said they will move people out of Iran step by step over several weeks. They are teaming up with the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment to make everything run smoothly. Countries that border Iran have agreed to help with the rescue mission. The process will continue until everyone who wants to come home can do it safely. Government workers hope to finish the job quickly because of the dangerous fighting happening there.

People from Bangladesh who live in Iran must sign up with their embassy in Tehran first. They need to give their names, home addresses, and other important details to officials there. Family members back home can also call government offices if they need help finding their relatives. The embassy will use this information to plan the trips back to Bangladesh. Everyone who registers will have a chance to return during the organized rescue flights.
