Bangladeshi students hurt in accidents get up to Tk50000 for treatment

The Secondary and Higher Education Division has announced financial assistance for economically disadvantaged and academically distinguished students who suffer severe injuries from accidents. Eligible applicants range from junior secondary through undergraduate levels and must submit their requests before October 31. Each student may receive between 10,000 and 50,000 Taka one time during their medical care period. Applications require a mobile telephone number and a banking account registered under the student's name or their legal guardian's name. The government will transfer funds within three to four months after receiving completed applications and will send confirmation messages to the registered phone numbers.
