Sheikh Rifad Mahmud from Presidency University, Bangladesh, achieved victory in the Commonwealth Students' Association Vice President election for Democracy and Participation. The third-semester Computer Science and Engineering student defeated representatives from India, Ghana, Nigeria, and Kenya during the September 11-12 voting process. Representatives from 56 Commonwealth nations participated in selecting leadership for ten key positions. Rifad assumes responsibility for representing 1.4 billion students across the Commonwealth. His election marks a significant achievement for Bangladeshi youth on the global stage.
