Barau FC beat Rangers 2-0 to exit the drop zone

Barau FC climbed out of the relegation zone after securing a victory over Rangers International FC at their home ground in Kano. Muhammed Umar and Joseph Kemin scored during the rescheduled match, delivering the promoted club's third triumph of the campaign.

The result lifted Barau to 16th position with 13 points from 12 matches, while Rangers dropped to seventh place with 19 points from 13 outings. The victory provides relief for head coach Ladan Bosso, whose position had faced scrutiny despite the northern club's strong beginning to their maiden top-flight season.
