Barcelona scores in 45 straight games after Ferran Torres goal

Ferran Torres' goal against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday propelled FC Barcelona to a new club record of 45 consecutive matches with at least one goal across all competitions. The achievement surpassed Barcelona's previous mark of 44 straight scoring matches, which was set between November 1942 and February 1944. The goal came in the second round of the UEFA Champions League group stage at Montjuïc Stadium.

Real Madrid holds the Spanish football record for consecutive matches with a goal, scoring in 73 straight games under manager Zinedine Zidane from 2016 to 2017. Barcelona's current streak demonstrates the team's offensive capabilities, and signals its determination to compete for European honors once again.
