Bathroom breaks and bromance, Single Papa’s secret sauce

Two actors actually liked working together for once. Ankur Rathee recently talked about his co-star Kunal Kemmu while promoting their Netflix show Single Papa, which came from Juggernaut Productions and producers Aditya Pittie and Samar Khan. Rathee said their connection was instant and not fake at all.

He described Kemmu as a genuinely good person and a skilled performer. That natural vibe made every part of the job easier, from running lines to just hanging out between takes. Rathee specifically remembered one ridiculous wedding scene where his character needed a bathroom desperately. Kemmu's character had to keep pulling him back during a serious speech. Rathee flubbed a line, saying something like susi aayi hai, which cracked both of them up on set. That kind of unplanned humor happened a lot because they were so comfortable.

Kemmu had also given his own thoughts previously, mentioning how being a real-life dad helped him play his role. He said having personal experience to pull from, like remembering the first time he held his child, gave him an advantage over an actor without kids.
