Bayern splashes big cash to nab Nico Williams

Bayern Munich keeps pushing hard to land Spanish winger Nico Williams. The German giants refuse to give up even though Williams wants to join Barcelona instead. Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao have been talking about a transfer deal for weeks. French newspaper L'Équipe reports Bayern made another bid for the talented player. Their latest offer puts 10 million euros per year on the table for Williams.

Bayern also sweetened the deal with 2 million euros worth of bonus payments. The Bavarian club knows they can trigger his release clause easily. Athletic Bilbao set that buyout price at 58 million euros. Bayern officials believe they have enough cash to make this happen. The Spanish club would have no choice but to accept the money.

Bayern has backup plans ready if Williams says no. They started looking at Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain as another option. The French newspaper says that deal would be extremely tough to pull off right away. PSG rarely sells their key players during transfer windows. Barcola has become an important part of their attacking setup.

Jamie Bino-Gittens from Borussia Dortmund caught Bayern's attention as well. Bayern representatives already started talking with his agents about a possible move. Dortmund officials joined those discussions to hear what Bayern might offer. Chelsea creates serious competition for his signature though. The London club already submitted multiple formal bids to sign the promising winger.
