Believe names Marcela Moreira, Brazil country director

Marcela Moreira takes the Brazil helm at Believe as forró drives massive growth. The new Country Director starts on Thursday, overseeing Artist Services and TuneCore operations. Her sixteen years at Sony and Warner bring serious weight to Rio de Janeiro.

Brazil ranks eighth globally after jumping one spot last year. Recorded music revenue climbed fourteen point one percent in 2025. Latin America leads worldwide growth at seventeen point one percent year over year. This market demands strong local expertise mixed with global scale.

João Gomes and Nattan headline the forró roster powering business expansion. Moreira previously handled artist development in London and Miami. She aims to create sustainable opportunities for labels and partners across the region. Alejandra Olea praises her strategic vision for accelerating regional gains.

Believe just restructured globally on July ninth with new leadership appointments. Elsa Bahamonde Bourgain now heads Artist Services, while Romain Becker becomes COO.
