Dudes in a political party are getting ghosted by their own teammates. Five assemblymen from Bersatu in Perlis withdrew support for their state leader, Mohd Shukri Ramli, sparking a crisis, with PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang saying it's Bersatu's problem to handle those members, whose names are Abu Bakar Hamzah, Izizam Ibrahim, Megat Hashirat Hassan, Wan Zikri Afthar Ishak, and Marzita Mansor. Hadi made his comments in Marang, basically throwing the ball into Bersatu's court and saying political solidarity should matter, while also noting the party is made of people with different views.
He told reporters the decision on any punishment rests with Bersatu itself, suggesting they should listen to their conscience. This mess happened after Shukri quit as menteri besar, blaming health reasons and denying the loss of support from those five Bersatu reps and three from PAS caused his exit.
