Bichi Bans Farming on Grazing Reserves to Stop Clashes

Bichi local government leaders stopped all crop growing on cattle paths and grazing areas. Acting Chairman Abubakar Sule Babangida introduced this rule to prevent fights between farmers and herders. A local farmer named Malam Sunusi Alhaji Adamu Damargu supports the government's actions. He asked officials to take strong steps to prevent deadly clashes between different groups. Damargu told crop growers to stay away from cattle areas and animal paths. He also asked herders to keep their animals off farmland to prevent trouble. The farmer believes that quick action from the authorities will help both sides live in peace.
