Francis Abba donated money to help the Ho Dome EP Basic School after teachers requested support. The Progressive Youth Club worked with Abba to make it happen quickly. Patrick Dzah received the cash gift as the vice chairman of the school management committee. School officials did not say exactly how much money they received from the generous businessman. Teachers felt surprised that someone answered their request for help within a short time.
Judith Kuseto spoke on behalf of the school staff and thanked Abba for caring about their educational needs. The Progressive Youth Club has over 168 members who work to support impoverished communities across the region. Club members follow the motto We stand for support and focus on social responsibility projects. Abba explained that the school appeal touched his heart, and he had to help them solve their problems. He talked with other club leaders before deciding to send money to the educational institution.
The youth organization plans to release a Borborbor music album, titled Nu Gãwoe Mawu Dzrado Di Nam, later this year. Members will launch the album during their annual meeting and celebration event. The club combines cultural activities with community service work across Ho and the surrounding areas. Abba hopes that other wealthy individuals will follow his example and support local schools that need financial assistance. The donation demonstrates how collaboration can enhance education and support students' success.
