Businessman Jim Ross Goddard takes Veluntina Investments to the Bulawayo High Court over unpaid bills. His company, JR Goddard Contracting, completed major infrastructure work at the Emganwini suburb during 2023. The project serviced 272 residential stands with roads, water pipes, and sewer connections. Veluntina hired the contractor for nearly 500,000 dollars but never paid the final amount. Court papers show the developer owes $451,550.33.
Crispen Mugova controls Veluntina Investments and previously served as deputy chairman for the Zimbabwe Chamber of Commerce Matabeleland Chapter. He also runs Udine Products and Main Protective Clothing companies. Mugova refuses to discuss the legal dispute with reporters. Veluntina filed paperwork to fight the lawsuit through their lawyers.
