Black Queens Relocate to Siaïda for Final WAFCON Preparations

Ghana's Black Queens packed up and moved their training camp from Benslimane to Siaïda ahead of the big tournament. The women's soccer team spent two weeks working hard on their fitness and game plans. They finished their prep work and switched locations as the tournament date gets closer. The squad played three practice games against teams from Malawi, Benin, and Nigeria during their camp. Team officials say the players are ready to compete at the highest level.

Morocco will host the 2025 Women's Africa Cup of Nations from July 5 through July 26. The Black Queens landed a tough draw for the group stage of the competition. They must face defending champions South Africa along with Mali and Tanzania teams. Group C promises to deliver exciting matches with strong opposition for Ghana's women. The tournament marks their first appearance at this level since 2018.

The coaching staff pushed the players through intense training sessions over the past fortnight. Physical conditioning and tactical work took up most of their daily schedule during the camp. Friendly matches helped the team test their strategies against quality opponents. The Black Queens hope their preparation will pay off when they step onto the field for real competition. Seven years away from this tournament makes their return extra special for the entire squad.
