Bloober Team's Cronos showcases gravity-bending horror gameplay

Bloober Team reveals fresh gameplay footage for Cronos: The New Dawn through a ten-minute demonstration video. The developer previously created Silent Hill 2 Remake and Layers of Fear before announcing this science fiction horror adventure. Players control a protagonist navigating Sector A-0 while manipulating gravitational forces and environmental elements to progress through objectives. The footage displays tense horror mechanics where players move cautiously around corners with weapons ready against potential threats. Fall 2025 serves as the current release timeframe without specific launch details.

The studio originally gained recognition through Layers of Fear but experienced setbacks with subsequent poor-quality releases that management acknowledged as failures. Silent Hill 2 Remake restored the company's reputation and led to their assignment for remaking the original Silent Hill game. October 2024 marked the initial reveal of Cronos: The New Dawn as what appears to be Bloober Team's most ambitious and frightening project. Recent gameplay presentations have provided extensive looks at the title's mechanics and atmosphere. Publishers have yet to announce a concrete release date for this anticipated horror experience.
