Tanzanian authorities received the remains of Joshua Mollel at Kilimanjaro International Airport after the young man died during Hamas attacks in Israel. A government delegation, including Deputy Permanent Secretary Ambassador Said Shaib Mussa and Ambassador Silima Haji Kombo, participated in the repatriation ceremony.
Mollel will be interred in the Njiro neighborhood within the Orkesumet Ward of Simanjiro District in Manyara Region. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation coordinated the return of his body from the Middle East.
