Fishermen recovered the remains of an Indonesian sailor near Pulau Keramat after he vanished from a commercial vessel operating at Penang Port. Authorities confirmed the deceased as Abdul Khodir, aged 46, who disappeared from the Cassandra 2702 barge during overnight operations.
Rescue personnel transferred the body to police custody following its discovery by local fishing crews. The victim had been missing since late-night hours when he apparently went overboard while working aboard the cargo vessel.
